I remember vaguely how I was shocked when I found out I could come across as rude, because I don't really intend to behave that way, but wow today I realised how it happens. So i was mildly worried about today's class, which is a 3 hour seminar on Asian Markets. I was one lesson behind, had to appeal for this class and worse still I don't know anybody in it, we had to form groups, and I entered the room 10 minutes late clueless and panting, and I couldn't find a seat. At the corner bend, ( that's how awkward the room was shaped, at the sides theres a tiny L ), there were 2 girls seating with a gap in btwn, but in my blurry constipated mind I assumed they were friends so I asked the girl sittin at the end if I could... 'sit here'. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME. It din't even occur to me I was was asking her to move her ass away so I could occupy her space. Zomg. The poor girl was shifting and I din't even bother to look at her because my eyes were darting wildly looking for a better seat, which I found right smack in the centre front, and I quickly shifted to with no regard for that super sweet girl, wow it's too rude. I shock myself. This is so long and uninteresting, um, yea.

I'm back! I spent some 4 nights at the venetian and another 3 at my aunts place in Hk, wow the venetian is a place I grew to love. Actually it was love at first sight, it's just so damn pretty, and I could hide in their toilets all day. I was sleepless at my aunt's, and I spent the lonely parts of the holiday listening to Jason Mraz. Beautiful Mess is still my absolute favourite, it makes me want to fall in love randomly with the awkward romantic, the confused contradiction. Rah. The food was awesome, I realise I like Portugese food very much. The weather, on the other hand, was insane, it dropped to 8 degrees on the day I visited Disneyland, and everytime the wind blew I groaned like a sick old man, and tried to distract myself singing Ponyo Ponyo as loud as I can. I had to cover myself like a half ninja half terrorist, damn ugly thx.

Everything is open Nothing is set in stone Rivers turn to ocean Oceans tide you home Home is where the heart is But your heart had to roam Drifting over bridges Never to return Watching bridges burn You're driftwood floating underwater Breaking into pieces, pieces, pieces Just driftwood hollow and of no use Waterfalls will find you, bind you, grind you Nobody is an island Everyone has to go Pillars turn to butter Butterflying low Low is where your heart is But your heart has to grow Drifting under bridges Never with the flow And you really didn't think it would happen But it really is the end of the line So I'm sorry that you turned to driftwood But you've been drifting for a long, long time Everywhere there's trouble Nowhere's safe to go Pushes turn to shovels Shovelling the snow Frozen you have chosen The path you wish to go Drifting now forever And forever more Until you reach your shore

yesterday, the flu pill knocked me out for 5 hours straight, and I dreamt about love, not with the faceless stranger, but a boy I used to have a crush on back in school. I woke up feeling all exhilarated and flushed, but why him! My horopscope for January How might you feel Jupiter's presence in 2009? The most obvious, and perhaps most common way that you may feel Jupiter's benefits, would be to become engaged and/or wed this year. Truly, 2009 will be the most enchanting year in over a decade to wed. A fantastic solar eclipse on January 26 will open a path for an important collaboration, engagement, or wedding, possibly quite suddenly. A solar eclipse often is a harbinger of fresh starts. Among the people you meet, one will likely stand out as someone you would like to know better. This would be true whether you are a lion or lioness. The person you meet would not be stick thin either - your partner would have some meat on his or her bones - and also have quite a jovial sense of humor. This would be true of the person you meet and find interesting all year, not just this month, so you do have a terrific outlook! If you've been disappointed in love, this month brings a complete 180-degree turnaround. The coming year will be just the opposite of those tough years. There's no danger that you will ever see a repeat of those years, thank goodness. wahahhahah

Be not afraid. Help is on its way. A sentence suspended in air, way over there. Dear Diary, What else could it be? As nightshade descends like a veil, under the sail of my heart. Be still, don't stop until the end

2009! I have been listening to everyone's new year resolutions attentively, and being way secretive about mine, but the truth is that I have no resolutions/reflections. Just din't want to admit it. I don't think that today and tomorrow I am a changed person because I have been sucked into another year. On Saturday I joined Ashlyn and her friends Brady and Rachel for dinner at Cedele, followed by dessert at Canele; I love their crepes. Needless to say there was a silly confusion about the 2 places, and I got the embarrassment of a lifetime at the latter. Left my measly wallet behind, returned to retrieve it, and in the OH I AM SO LUCKY dizzy state I left the handphone instead, when I trooped back once again, mad with shame, I was famous. Damnit. Chengwei came to pick me up, ONE HOUR LATE NO LESS. Starbucks plan was swapped for a Mcdonalds session grr. The next 2 days were spent shopping for 'essential things' with my mother, she doesn't ever tire of linens, forks, pots and such. These things, can be HEAVY. I had to plead for mercy. On Tuesday, I finally met Yogi! With Christine and Ashlyn, who had to be dragged from River Island. Sat at eee Mos,the fated venue, abused cameras and omg, they couldn't stop singing Two Left Feet, whatever the name of the song is, it was a major headache because we could only figure out a Jingle Bells melody. Got pearls at Bugis, where we ogled at Audrey Hepburn. We parted at dinner time, and I joined Jason to watch IP MAN. IP MAN WAS AWESOME. DONNIE YEN IS... OMG I CANNOT DESCRIBE. My words cannot do justice to his lightning speed punches. The Wing Chun was kick ass. I am biased, I admit, to me he always delivers, but the plot wasn't concrete. Yesterday, the last day of 2008, I met Ashlyn and Yogi at Parkway. At length we reached a consensus to have tea at Swissbake, yum I love scones with cream. Cream is like a magic food. Christine joined us with a brand new haircut, which was short and chic, I like it. I had my hair cut a few days ago as well, what is it with Katlyn! I suspect she wants all of us to look like her, my hair looks like hers, in particular the sparse fringe. She isn't very sparing with the sissors, i requested for her to keep the length and she halved it. Aiyo, in future I should ask her to lengthen my hair, why do I keep coming back to you, is it sentimal attachement. Sleepover was at Chan's. It was FUN. When the bbq was over, we played Taboo, the chemistry between me eeLeen is disturbing. Me: What is between Dah and ( a boy )? eeLeen: BARRIER Me: We all have this because we are spinsters. eeLeen: Independence! Chan's sister is seriously funny. What is small shiny and hurts ( bullet ), big eyes big forhead and balding ( alien ). whahahah primary 6 minds, one of a kind, damn cute We munched seaweed and octopus, I love seaweed. Soon after we got distacted by Ah Mei's red dress and sultry voice, AND THEN AND THEN I GOT TRAUMATISED WHEN I SAW TAY PING HUI SINGING JASON MRAZ, I'M YOURS, OMG IT WAS SO PAINFUL TO WATCH, MY EYES WERE TRANSFIXED, HE EVEN JAB FINGERS BOB HEAD AND SLANT MOUTH. Shocking. The clock hit 12, and we flocked to the balcony with the breathtaking view to look at fireworks and SOS signals by the ships. All very familiar, very annual. :) After which we exchanged gifts, and we hopped in the La Senza slippers I bought. They are real plush and comfy, its like walking on marshmallows. We watched 4 episode's of America's Next Top Model, it was my first time, and 4 hours is mad, their faces are engraved in my mind. We went to bed at 430, and one hour later I was still wide awake, absolutely abhor that segment of sleepovers. I stared at the lips on my pjs until I snoozed, and woke up to messy haired girls, we totally looked like a spurious Korean Boyband. Wow the hair. Boi Boi one. Katlyn ah why the fringe so sparse like donnie yen.
