The Nutcracker was nice! We got first row tickets and I was totally blown away by a veryyy pretty dancer before the dry ice engulfed me and I couldn't stop giggling.
Anyway, Dah eeLeen XH and I finally got about to meeting up and we talked and ate and shopped, it's like a cycle that we keep repeating until we are tired. I love it. It is very strange because I keep tasting the caramelised banana at Canele, which was oddly very much like an apricot. Okay I don't think I make any sense, am exceedingly sleepy now.
Sometimes The Internet freaks me out. Its a platform for expression, no doubt. It disturbs me though, when it defamiliarises someone, and distorts my impression of a person. Do we assume a different persona on the internet community? I think it happens deliberately at times, an intentional deconstruction of identity to draw out multiple facets of selfhood. Isn't always that way of course, our identity could just as well be integrated and coordinated online.
