Suddenly half of my friends have slrs. =)

Yesterday, my camera turned 3 wks old! It is probably not that young, but under my ownership, yes 3 weeks. Feels much longer, if i ignore the fact that I am still the greatest technical noob of all. Anyway I brought my 3 week old baby to a wedding shoot which lasted like.. an hour only and used up only half my battery. I din't really dare to take photos or stand close though. I don't know if I can post photos but I shall post one, just one.



Have I ever said that photography makes you alot more humble? I received constructive criticism over a photo yesterday from Tunkai, and I really feel like I learnt something. He advised me to always check the background for distractions and that I could try focussing on the eyes. I think I am always focussing on the breasts or stomach. I meant Tinas and Margarets. Haha Chan I expose your secret.


Anyway I am not very good at editing photos. Like.. for the photo above I thought it looked fine but Chengwei said I should up the contrast. My eye really... cannot judge okay. Anyway there are people who cannot accept that photos have to be processed, they call that being fake. Hello die please.

And yipeng is really.... photography beembo. I was trying to explain shooting in RAW format and he started talking about " raw must cook then become cooked'. It's okay, after his prime lens lameness I can accept anything.

And... I met Chengwei's partner Shyan yesterday, who turned out to be very different from what I expected. He is very animated and I am very amazed that he acts out everything he says, sometimes he goes mime too. Something like Robin, facial expressions alot. But Robin is different since he looks like Steven Lim. Plus Shyan cannot stop whistling and making Chengwei sing after him, something he calls 'a game', and the instant he said " Go Coffeebean eat what, eat beans?", I knew he could be best friends with Xinhui, who... is really disgusting because she told Dahniela that she can feel the shit poking at her ass. OMG YUCK.

I've said before that all the weird people in the universe are my friends haven't I. It IS true.
