Make a Watch, for a Space in School
It’s a Monday today, and it’s also the first day of school. It was good to see the friends again. Day ones always begin with a healthy dose of school gossips and a little bit of drama, with freshly brewed couples and Claire losing-&-finding her wallet in the crazily packed computer lab. Lab auntie also screamed at our enthusiastic school-going selves like it was a dear old library.

Since tutorials haven’t begun, I only had 2 lectures today. During MNO1001 Matthew Linus told us that on the date of submission of projects, printers will not work. Next, Operations Management Prof James Ang is very Daddy like, and his favourite choice of examples is... surgeons. One story involved his surgeon friend removing a cataract for him while singing Korean songs. Why do I know all this? Because I sat at the 2nd row. Because I have a resolution to be a better student than the previous slippery mud semester. By the way I also must mention that Tobias sat down beside Qishan today, and I don’t think he stopped talking LOL. He offered Ricola which augmented my attention span by 2 minutes.

I have been listening to Cat Power’s The Greatest, which I find really addictive but I cannot hear her words and I cannot find the lyrics. And because bad luck is here to haunt of late I cannot find anyplace to download Norah Jones’ The Story so I have been listening on Imeem which is so irritating because I don’t like to keep clicking “Play” and accumulate Tabs.

Talked to Pei just now, told her about something that has been bothering me, and she told me to “Just be yourself”. Which is exactly what I wanted to hear and knew she would say. I haven’t seen that woman in 123456 years but I honestly don’t think it matters. She is sometimes the mature little lady who gives me sound advice and occasionally the childish girl who whines about some love fantasies. Just the way I like it.

Today is the day I begin hating Facebook Fortune Cookie. "Now is a good time to try online dating''.
